American Traditional Line
This design conforms to the characteristics for American Traditional styles. Plant material is used in a naturalistic manner with little or no abstraction. The quantity of material is restrained and a linear pattern is dominant. Line material establishes the pattern which can be vertical, horizontal, crescent, S-curve or zigzag. There may be a focal area, but it must not dominate.
