We are happy to welcome you to our garden club!  Established in 1950 as an arm of the Beverley Hill’s Women’s Club, the club has grown and matured over the years to become a vibrant and engaging organization that cultivates members’ knowledge of horticulture, practices the art of flower arranging and works to beautify our community through gifts and labor.

Since 1951 and through the following years, community service activities have been one of the primary interests of the club.  The membership has contributed floral arrangements to many organizations, and held fund-raisers and house and garden tours. Over the years, BHGC has provided dozens of plants, shrubs and trees to community parks, schools, clubs and non-profit organizations.  BHGC’s support has been vigorous and ongoing for the National Capital Area Federation of Garden Clubs and its projects as well.
 

Many of our members have brought special recognition to the club because of their artistic accomplishments and observation of and response to community needs.   2016-2017 will be a season for identifying new projects for the club to undertake as part of our revitalized Community Outreach Program.  Our motto is: "Growing Together From the Ground Up".
